Inaugural High Tea
Our Inaugural High Tea was a huge success! Ninety-four beautiful ladies came out in their hats and fascinators and they were gorgeous. Though raining, it was such a beautiful Sunday afternoon. New relationships were formed, old ones rekindled and knowledge was gained as we raised money and awareness for the Lupus Foundation. Stephanie Reed from the Lupus Foundation, shared with us the symptoms, side effects and the day to day difficulty of living with Lupus. She also provided special gifts for all the ladies fighting this dreaded disease. Tears flowed! Pamela Joseph received the Tea-rific Award for her outstanding leadership with introducing us to the Lupus Foundation.
To every Platinum Beauty that attended, THANK YOU! Your love and support is appreciated and I am grateful for your presence. A Special Thank You to Linda Carroll with LC Photography for our beautiful photos, Stephanie Reed from the Lupus Foundation, Jerald Dunn aka "The Sax Man" for the outstanding tunes he provided, especially Purple Rain, 😉 my TB Events team, and of course my family-Joey, Jas and Jay. Their love, support and tolerance of me and all my craziness is more than I could ask for.
The smiling faces, laughter, and joy you see in these photos are genuine and will forever resonate within the group. This is our purpose. To come together in love, likeness and laughter, while enjoying this stage of life. Every event has a purpose. We will continue to impact the lives of others as we Gracefully Embrace the Grey!
