THRIVE IS YOUR SILVER LINING
We are seeking Talented, Hardworking, Responsible, Individuals that Value Excellence in all they do. Rising Female High School Juniors and Seniors for the 2024-25 school year, this is you! Girls with a passion, but not sure how to fulfill it. We want to help her achieve her dreams. Why? Because she deserves this!
Our goal is to assist eight (8) teen girls with the tools, information, exposure and opportunities to begin her post high school journey with confidence. We will share career options that are not often considered, certification programs that can be accomplished within 6 months-2 years and expose her to the world around her. We will also engage in Community Service Projects to demonstrate the importance of giving back. We are passionate about building confidence and providing the resources needed to change her life.
THRIVE’s six month mentoring program is hosted by Silver Linings. The program meets bi-weekly in the Tucker, Georgia area. We will showcase Subject Matter Experts in the career fields in which each participant is interested. They will be on site and share their experience and success in the desired fields by our participants. We will also cover basic life topics such as Banking, Credit Worthiness, Rental Agreements, Interviewing Skills, and other critical life skills. We believe every teenage girl deserves an opportunity to enjoy the life she envisions. We want girls that are poised, polite, passionate and perfectly imperfect. Girls with a dream, desire and are full of determination.
We are accepting applications from April 15, 2024 – May 31, 2024. This class will consist of eight (8) participants. We will host a Meet and Greet during the summer of 2024 for our next class and their parents/guardians. The program will begin in September, 2024 and conclude in March, 2025 with a Silver Belle Banquet to commemorate their accomplishments.
Your investment for this program is minimal but very important. Your time, talent and truthfulness is all we desire. Your commitment to show up and participate is most important to us. Once selected, there is a $250 participation fee for the entire six month program and banquet. Sponsorships may be provided but not guaranteed.
